Why do i get black screen in figure window when I tried to plot

I tried to plot x=[1 2 3 4 5]

plot(x)

But what i got was black screen in the figure window

with nothing else on it

It was newly installed version.

Please help me

Yes, Every plot gives black screen in my laptop while it works well in my desktop.(installed with same package)

I tried just loading blank figure window by commanding

"figure(1)"

This case, I got the normal figure window with gray background which is default setting.

But once I try to plot on it, everything in the figure window goes black...

I wonder why this happens T^T

please help me
