Hoping someone can help me solve a problem with the triggered pulse I'm trying to make. Yes, I know others have made very good triggered pulse blocks (and I do have one of them) but as part of the learning for my class I wanted to try to make it work on my own. Anyway, I'm brand new to Simulink and came pretty close to making it work using simple counters and switches...until I tried to stop the counter and created an algebraic loop. Stopping the counter is pretty important since it starts over when it reaches the upper limit and would defeat the purpose of the triggered part. I certainly see the loop (though I'm still not 100% sure why it won't work), but I'm just wondering if someone with some more experience could check out my file (I just attached a pdf version as it's pretty easy to see what's going on) and help me figure out if it is something that is salvageable or if I'm going to have to blow it up. The loop occurs from the output of the counter feeding into the input of Switch1...I'm pretty proud of even getting it this close so take it easy on me if you can! Thanks if you can help!
