For matlab command wavread(filename, [N1 N2]), how to choose N1 and N2 values?

In one of the speech processing code, [24120 25930] is used. I am working with .wav file but don't know how to choose these values for my file.i am using many .wav files as inputs.for all files range will be same?my input files are baby cry signals.

N1 and N2 mean, that not the complete wav-file is imported, but only the chunk from the frames N1 to N2. If you want to import the whole file, omit this argument.
