I cannot close matlab or data acquisition tool!

I have installed 'Data acquisition tool' and tried to run it, since then matlab is displaying an error :

"Error using close

Dot indexing is not supported for variables of this type.

Error in close

Caused by:

Error while evaluating figure CloseRequestFcn

In base workspace."

There are no variables in my workspace, I have cleared them all, I cannot find a way to close matlab.

Kill the process.

set(findall(groot, '-property', 'CloseRequestFcn'), 'CloseRequestFcn', '')

This should turn off all CloseRequestFcn, allowing you to close the figure and so close MATLAB.
