Export GUI as EPS or .fig

I have made an app within app designer and I am looking to export the app such that I can edit some things and get a clear picture within illustrator. I have tried using the export app function but have gotten the error as follows :

The property 'UIFigure' in class 'PUMBAA_v2_3' must be accessed from a class instance because it is not a Constant property.

If anyone has any idea how to export an image of the app while it is running or save a clear eps that would be very helpful and appreciated,

You can use the “saveas“ command to save your figure to a specific file format.
