Is there a way to take real-time data and move a 2D object accordingly ?

Hi,

I am using arduino and a 5v potentiometer. I am able to get real time values from 0-1024 from my analog read block. I want to be able to move a 2D object in matlab according to the values I read from the block.

e.g if it is a value of 90 degrees ( after scaling 512 to an angle) I want to move a 2D object from 0 degrees to 90 degrees.

How do I go about getting a 2D object so that it can be controlled.
