Calling a function file in a method

I have a function called: 'location.m', and I would like to call this function in a method in a class file that I have. Is this possible to do or is there an easier way to do this?

If location.m is a function file and the function you want to call is the first function in the file, the main function, just call it like you would any other function like svd or plot or why.
