[PhasedArrayToolbox] How can I get cuts of the array in the cylindrical coordinates system from the spherical?

I am working with example Scan Radar Using a Uniform Rectangular Array (<http://www.mathworks.com/help/phased/examples/scan-radar-using-a-uniform-rectangular-array.html)>. We have an array with range and azimuth. I added to this array scan height.That will have an array:

where L - height, R - range, M - azimuth. I can draw cuts of the array in spherical coordinates to a certain height. How do I correctly render it in a cylindrical coordinate systems?

Could you clarify what are those cuts for? Is it some sort of projection. Looks to me the height and range are not independent so I'm wondering if you could provide a bit more explanation.
