error in c-compiler

hi how can i resolve this error:

Unable to locate a C-compiler required by Stateflow and MATLAB Function blocks. Use 'mex -setup' to select a supported C-compiler.

Type the following at the command line. When asked if you want MATLAB to look for compilers, press Enter:

mex -setup

If there is a C compiler choice available, select it. If there is no C compiler choice available, then you will have to install one yourself. To see what compilers are supported you can start with this link:

I Thank You for your reply ...   I wonder is it that there are no other alernative bypassing the C-Compiler. I work with a matlab function block that does the calculation from three fonction.m. thank you again
