Gets "Function 'subsindex' is not defined for valuse of class matla.ui.c​ontrol.UIC​ONTROL

This is not my first time setting and gettig data from GUI

But suddenly i get this error while trying to : set(handles.textbox_name,'string','somestring')

Can anyone help?

Noth wit such a limited view of the code and output. We would need full copy-pastes of the error messages, and at least the sections of code triggering the error.

Don't define a variable named set in your code. If you do, you will not be able to call the set function in that function. Modify your code to use a different name for that variable.
