cmd+0 shortcut on mac

I am running an experiment on the psych tool box. When I try to exit out of the experiment using cmd+0 and entering sca, nothing happens. When I test the cmd+0 shortcut without an experiment running, the command window is successfully selected, but none of my keystrokes register. I have to click on the command window in order to type. How do I resolve this issue?

In the same posst, a staff member mentioned that it's a known bug and that the development team is considering it for future releases. However, I couldn't find any bug report or updates in the release notes regarding the current status of this issue.
