MATLAB Code for Mapping TPS 3D Dose to ArcCHECK 2D Geometry

Hi there,
I’ve developed a MATLAB script to convert 3D dose distributions (300 × 352 × 151) from a TomoTherapy system (in helical mode) into the 2D geometry of the ArcCHECK phantom (220 × 680).
The main objectives of this code are:
  • To reconstruct the ArcCHECK detector geometry in MATLAB based on its helical design.
  • To interpolate the TPS-generated 3D dose to the physical positions of the ArcCHECK diodes.
However, the results from the MATLAB code differ from the actual ArcCHECK measurements, which I’ve attached for reference. I’m currently trying to understand the source of this discrepancy.
If you have any suggestions or insights—particularly regarding interpolation accuracy, geometric modeling, or any efficient techniques for improving dose mapping—I would greatly appreciate your input.
Thank you in advance for your time and support!
