MCR on Linux gcc compatibility issue

Hello,

I have MCR R2022b installed on a linux distribution with GCC 7.4. According to the supported compilers this version of MCR should be support the compiler, but when compiling code against the matlab libraries I get a linker errors related to libmx.so: undefined references to GLIBCXX_3.4.26; this is GCC 8, is GCC7.x actually supported in MCR R2022b?

According to https://www.mathworks.com/content/dam/mathworks/mathworks-dot-com/support/sysreq/files/system-requirements-release-2022b-supported-compilers.pdf in R2022b, GCC7.x was supported for all MATLAB and all Simulink activities.
