How to calculate the difference between Max and Min value of a signal at every x seconds?

Hello everyone,
I am looking for a way to determine the difference between the maximum and minimum value of the a signal over a period of time and this should be repeated periodically.
PS: I cannot use the 'MinMax Running Resettable' block

If you have the Image Processing Toolbox, you can use rangefilt().
