Installing MATLAB 2007 on Windows 10

When I try to install MATLAB 2007 on Windows 10 everything goes smoothly until I try to run the software. A burst page comes up for a second and then it disappears. This problem existed under Windows 7 too were switching to classic theme cured the display issue. But no such option seems to exist on Windows 10. Is there a solution?

No, MATLAB R2007* are not compatible with Windows 10 (other than by using a Windows-in-Windows emulator)

Matlab 2007 runs on Windows 10 in Vindows Vista compatibility mode.

I seem to recall that I could not get it to work properly, but it has been several years since I tried and I do not recall what particular problems I encountered.
