I am doing a project on Detection of lung cancer in Ct scans. Could you please tell me how to do it? I have to first threshold the image then do background removal. And then only extract the malignant nodules

I'm not sure what you want to find - maybe Star Strider would because he's a physician.

If you want bright blobs or dark blobs, I can do that.
