Matlab R2015b on parallels ubuntu 14.04

Can anyone tell me the origin of, or how to resolve the following error I encountered while trying to run a matlab application on a linux (ubuntu 14.04) installation of R2015b using (Mac OSX) parallels?

Error using gca While setting the 'Parent' property of 'Axes': Can't load '/usr/local/MATLAB/R2015b/bin/glnxa64/libmwosgserver.so': /usr/local/MATLAB/R2015b/bin/glnxa64/libosgViewer.so.80: undefined symbol: glXDestroyGLXPbufferSGIX

Error in newplot (line 68) ax = gca(fig);

Thank you for your answer, however, I am having a little trouble with the instructions given at the link you provided. I assume you're suggesting the following steps could solve my problem:

1) open src/osgViewer/PixelBufferX11.cpp 2) insert "#undef GLX_SGIX_pbuffer" around line 280 (for OSG 3.0.1) 3) close file and compile

Unfortunately I have been unable to locate this file - 'PixelBufferX11.cpp'. Which 'src' directory is being referred to in this post? My Matlab dir ('/usr/local/MATLAB/R2015b') doesn't contain a 'src' folder and I have also searched for 'osgViewer', to no avail.

I experience the same issue as the original poster when running Matlab 2015b using optirun/primusrun. According to the links you posted I have changed the PixelBufferX11.cpp file and successfully compiled. Then I have replaced the libosgViewer.so.80 and libmwosgserver.so in the matlab install folder. Is that the right approach? Because it does not work (another, but not specific error message appears).
