Image Resolution

for my Project I need a template for letters from A-Z& numbers 1-9 with Size 40*40........how can i get that ............. I already had some templates with some other resolutions i tried to change the resolution using photoshop to 40*40 but the quality is very very low what to do

If you have the Image Processing Toolbox, try imresize.
