I've scoured the internet and can't find anything about this. I'm using Matlab 2014a, and originally my deploytool interface looked like this:
Then yesterday I plotted too many things at once and matlab crashed. Upon restarting matlab my old interface is gone, and I can only figure out how to open this new terrible, clunky, horrible interface:
I've gone through every menu I can find trying to restore the previous interface. Does anyone know how this can be done? Thanks, rob

It would appear so... In the past I've had other versions but at the moment I only have 2014a 32bit:
I've only ever installed 32bit matlab 2014a, and the directory in "Program Files" is only 135MB. Thanks for the response.

I'm just trying random things now because i need this to work immediately.
From the help in matlab 2014a, I found this video titled "Using MATLAB Builder NE". In the video the presenter types "deploytool" at the command prompt and gets this dialog window:
However when I type "deploytool" I get this dialog:
All I want to do is build a DLL, which the "Deployment Tool" would do but I don't see how to get the "MATLAB Compiler" to do so. Why does the "MATLAB Compiler" open when I type "deploytool"?!?!?!? How do I open the "Deployment Tool"?!?!?!?

I was able to get the Deployment Tool interface to open again in 2014a by installing matlab 2010b and recreating the .net assembly project (.prj file) there. Then in 2014a I open this new prj file which opens the ".NET Assembly" Deployment Tool like I wanted. There must be an easier way of opening this tool and I'd love to know how to do it.
