How do I make a contour velocity plot?

I am trying to plot velocity measured at 3 different depths for each location along a transect. The color scale should be the velocity values, the x-axis is the distance, and the y-axis is the depth. For example, I got 3 velocity values from taking measurements 2 feet along the transect and depths of 0.5 feet, 1 foot, and 1.5 feet.
