statistics available for 2D array(image) from fftshift(fft2)

Hello I’m wondering if there are any tools available for analyzing or doing a regression on something like an image, ie 2D array. Specifically, im taking the fftshift (fft2), which when plotted, gives the 2D frequency content of the image with the lowest frequenices in the middle. I want to compare images with different frequency content, I can visibly see the shape is different, but need some way to do statistics. Is there something I can use ?

hi all ive decided to add an image to demonate the point. ITs a 2D fft, one is of an image of a substance under strain which changes the frequency content it in, the image next to it is without any strain and fibers are un organized.

so id like to fit a curve through it to show organization.

im not sure how to do this wiht an 2D array
