I have project on for number plate extraction which i will store on raspberry pi kit but before that i need to do simulation can anyone help me on that ? and is it necessary for simulation to attach hardware ?

Basicially its a ticketless parking sySTEM code will be stored in raspberry pi attached with a webcam and lcd and one motor which will opne the gate need help on it :/
