I have a matlab code in which I am dividing the numerator with (t2-t1). It shall be actually in differential form. How to do that?

y= (10a+ 4)/(t2-t1)
z=(10a +4)
a= constant, not a changing value

I want the equation in dz/dt form

If z is a constant, then necessarily dz/dt = 0.
