Matlab open figure performance

Hey there, I reinstalled Matlab today in my computer, and i was noticing a very low speed just to open a normal figure, even with the simplest graphic ever.

I used to have Matlab in this computer some months ago and it was not this slow, as an example i am running the following code:

 tic
 plot([0,1],[0,1])
 drawnow
 toc

Wich results in : Elapsed time is 7.129188 seconds. To me 7.13 seconds to open a figure seems to long when i need to create a new figure every 30 seconds to analyse results.
