Error message when using dftool function

I have just downloaded the free 30 day trial for the Datafeed Toolbox. However, when I try to download historical data of any stock I get an error message. I have tried several different stocks but nothing seems to work. 'No data returned'. Any ideas? Weirdly enough the fetch command works for the present time but not between two time periods!

If you are trying to get historic data from Yahoo, then unfortunately that will not work. Yahoo recently changed their software in a way that does not support that functionality.

Is there any matlab tool that would allow me to extract this information from the web efficiently? I am trying to improve my data analysis skills by looking at financial stocks' data...
