Object Recognition on Android

Hi there,

I'd like to make an Android application that recognises objects using deep learning like this video.

If I want to perform something similar to the video, my guess is: The phone takes a photo of the object and send it to the cloud where it gets processed by MATLAB. Once done, it sends the result back to the Android application.

Do you know what is the best way to perform this task?
