display current time in minutes

hi, how can I display current time as a multiple of 60, meaning 1 o clock is displayed as 60, 2 o clock as 120, 3 o clock as 180 and so on. I know if i type in clock then i get the current time but the further conversion is difficult.

or

hour(datetime)*60 + minute(datetime)

if you want to add the minutes.
