How to add adnotation below saved figures in Matlab Publisher output *.doc file?

Dear all,

I am using Matlab Publisher to save a series of figures from a script into a *.doc file. I am generating the figures in a "for" loop and I tried to include below each figure an annotation like 'Figure "i". The received data from file "n"', where "i" and "n" are different for each figure (I want to obtain at the end a series of figures annotated liek Figure 1. , Figure 2. ... . I saw on some web sites that I need to include a double "%%" section before annotating each figure, but "i" and "n" are seen as characters by the publisher. I there a way to do this?
