Running matlab in python Environment Error

Hi all,

Im trying to run matlab in python. I installed the setup.py module and matlab with pip. Then i run python in bash and import matlab.engine

I get the following error: EnvironmentError: Please reinstall MATLAB Engine for Python or contact MathWorks Technical Support for assistance: No module named matlabengineforpython2_7

Im using python 2.7.12. Is there a version for python 3 or a working one for python 2.7?
