2017a workspace doesn't display variables

Hi: I met a problem about workspace. The workspace does not display variables after I ran some commands in command window. By the way, I just installed 2017b in this computer, so both 2017a and 2017b in my computer.

Hi.. I am facing problem in workspace display in 2017a...I am using ubuntu 16.04 system.. I am sharing my pics.. If I drag in workspace then it will be visible. I am using dell system which has Intel® Kabylake GT1.5 graphics.
