How to initialize an mxArray **

One of the parameters of the function that was compiled by matlab compiler has an mxArray , how do I set up one? Because the generated output has erroneous values.

mxArray should be defined as a pointer.

   mxArray *a;

Thank you very much, apparently the parameter with the data type of mxArray was the output of the function. Though this part of my source code has been rectified the output of the function still resulted with erroneous output. Does it have to do with the large matrices input? Currently I have a 97320240 x 14 matrix.
