How to create an image from an RGB Matrix

I have a RGB matrix and that is very big. However I would like to create an image out of it. Can you please help?

Have you tried anything yet? Even the slightest attempt at searching the documentation? I find it hard to believe you couldn't discover image, imagesc, or imshow with 2 minutes of effort. Is there a reason none of those is doing what you expect or would like?

Yes thats what. I tried with imagesc. And the code computes all pixel data in a matrix and then imagesc should work. However this matrix loop itself is so big and i left it the whole night to compile. I dont see any results.

It should be 1584 x 2780. Now the code wouldnt show as it take forever to execute and create the matrix in a loop. But i tried to do it from row=1:20 and col=1:20 and size() gave me 400. So its evident that it would be 1584 x 2780

1584 x 2780 is not an RGB matrix. It needs to be 3-dimensional with a 3rd dimension of 3. Also, your question title is about creating an image from an RGB matrix, but your comments seem to be more about problems creating the matrix in the first place.

You keep mentioning loops, what in the world are you looping?

KSSV gave the full answer, don't put any other code with it. 1584x2780x3 is not a big RGB matrix. That should display nearly instantaneously.

@Pavel Chatterjee: I agree with Greg: The problem is not the display of the array, but the creation. Then post the code, which takes so much time. Usually a forgotten pre-allocation is a cause for slow code, but a 1584x2780 array is not large, such that this would waste some seconds of runtime only.

Nope! It gives me the same wait. It doesnt give an output.

Also the code gives the desired section of the image if i run lets say from row=1:100 and col=1:100.... But if I run it for its entire length it runs forever. Kept it overnight as well to check, no output
