Programming target device failed.

When I was using HDL Code Generation, the last step was Program target device. However, I have connected my Xilinx Zedboard to the UART, but it still shows this problem.Or do I miss something?

"Downloading target FPGA device configuration over Ethernet to SD card ... Cannot connect to "Zynq hardware".

Details: Could not connect to the hardware over Serial Port.

Check that USB cable is plugged into 'USB-to-UART' port of the hardware and the power switch is turned on.

If this error persists, switch off the hardware, wait for 10 seconds, switch on the hardware and then repeat this step." Programming target device failed.

Do you also have an Ethernet connection between your ZedBoard and host computer?

Before you start the HDL Workflow Advisor, make sure that you have the Zynq hardware support package setup correctly by running the

>>targetupdater

command in MATLAB, and selecting Xilinx Zynq Platform. This will verify that the communication link between MATLAB and your hardware is working properly.
