Matlab Compiler: pathname with spaces

If I run a command (in Matlab Command Window or in m-script)
mcc -C -o Myprog -W WinMain:Myprog -T link:exe -d "C:\Program Files" ...
then it gives
Error using mcc
The output directory,
'"C:\Program'
does not exist.
How can I specify path with spaces?

Which release are you using? With some of the older releases you could not use spaces. The newer releases slam various parts of the command together without really using proper quotes but the underlying code somehow parses it.
