FInd a chord in a polyhedron in a random direction?

Given a polyhedron and a point (X,Y) inside it. I want to choose a random direction and plot the chord passing through (X,Y). Can it be done?

Yes. Use MATLAB, simple 10th grade trigonometry & algebra, and the rand() and line() functions.
