Saving as csv file?

Hi people , when I save a variable in csv format i only see the variable but not the datas.
For example:
Frequency =1:100
xlswrite('Signals.xls','Frequency')
%Note: I have a Mac so i don’t have excel so matlab writes a csv file format.

Don't use quotes around Frequency.
xlswrite('Signals.xls', Frequency)
It differs from the save() function, where you do use single quotes.

Thank you sir , is there a possibility to save it to my numbers(similar to excel) application?
