Extract Data from quiver plot

Hi,

I am trying to extract a region of data from a quiver plot. I want to be able to select the region using ginput, which I have already done, however I don't know how to associate the x,y, u and v vectors with this region. I have the coordinate locations from ginput which are defining the region of interest. Any suggestions are welcome.
