Does Matlab has a function to perform "line integral convolution"?

Does Matlab have a function to perform "line integral convolution"? So far I found only toolbox_image at file exchange, contributed by Gabriel Peyre many years ago, has this function. Does Mathworks plan to put in a better implementation of this function?

You asked about a Mathworks "plan". The people who know what is or is not planned are not permitted to talk about it without a Non Disclosure Agreement.

Myself, I have not seen any evidence that those operations are considered a priority to implement, but this is not something I have ever discussed with Mathworks.
