How I can enable Matlab function highlighting?

This is VS Code with Matlab extension.
Can I make Matlab Editor work like that, i.e. with function highlighting and prompting keywords and function names?

The live editor does some of this.

Without function highlighting, the syntax looks so dull, and even difficult to the eye.
