problems with volshow()

I had tried the following demo code in Matlab. I'm using Matlab 2018b

load('spiralVol.mat'); h = volshow(spiralVol);

but i'm getting a black screen. i tried opengl software and opengl hardware my system is core i3 with 4gb ram

data = spiralVol
V = squeeze(data);
h = volshow(V);

I think volshow is available only from Matlab r2019, not earlier versions.

R2019a in particular is the documented starting point according to current documentation, but in fact it appeared in R2018b and was documented then; https://www.mathworks.com/help/releases/R2018b/images/ref/volshow.html
