Why is Software in Loop is required for auto generated code?

As I know sil means testing of software. Software can be handwritten or auto-generated. But with auto generated code, why it is required for SIL testing? because code is generated from same model where the Model in loop is successfully completed. where we can see the differences in results of MIL and, SIL of auto-generated code?

Please explain.
