emailing results from MATLAB program

I am trying to find out if there is a way to automatically email results from with in an app I have developed if someone was to input their email address. Have not been able to find anything, but may not havethe proper search terminology to find it if it exists.

I think you may need to set some settings using setpref as shown in the Tips section on the sendmail documentation page. If that doesn't work, I recommend contacting Technical Support and working with them to determine what settings you need to change to enable sendmail to contact your SMTP host.
