What's the difference between Lasso function and glmnet function???

Hello guys,

Could anyone plz explain for me what's the difference between lasso function and glmnet function ?

I tried both in matlab with an alpha =0.5 elastic-net case and family='binomial' in glmnet and got differenct resuts

So which results you suggest me better to take or in other hand which one produce more reliable predictors?
