About infinite loop in microcomputer

Hi,

I am trying to create an infinite loop of main statement in microcomputer control.

However, input value can not be changed in infinite loop.

It would be greatly appreciated if you could tell me.

Do something such as this (loop runs continously, the function updates every loop and pulls values from your controller or elsewhere):

while 1
    out = functionTest()
end

function [out] = functionTest()
    % Get some value from microcontroller 
end
