Problem installing MCR on AMD processor

I generated a standalone application using deploytool command andd it works fine on my computer and other colleagues computers. But one of them was not able to install the compiler on his machine and the following error message was generated when trying to install the MCR compiler:

"This installation package is not supported by this processor type. Contact your product vendor."

Details of the processor are: "x86 Family 16 Model 6 Stepping 2 AuthenticAMD 2712 Mhz"

Would you please let me know about this ongoing problem?

Did you get the 64-bit version and you are running a 32-bit OS? Or some other combination of 32/64 bit environment that is fundamentally incompatible?
