Identify the legend box in any image

I need to process images that are input by the user. Sometimes the user may provide an image which has legend bar (as shown in the example). I need to recognize and locate these small boxes. How can i do that?

After binarization:
pic.jpg
I need to identify this box at the bottom and locate its cordinates.
