Logitech G29 with Simulink desktop simulation

Hi

I have a logitech G29 driving wheel and pedals on PS3 mode and the simulink realtime library block for Logitech G29. Do you have any idea how can I record steering signals?

I keep on getting error though all the modules and drivers are installed in Matlab.

Is the G29 connected to a Speedgoat real-time target machine? Can you share the error messages?

Oh I got your point. I think that block will not work with Simulink desktop PC as it is the part of Simulink Realtime library so it will only work on a Realtime operating system say speed goat. Am I right?

The error that I get us that it cannot initialize the model. I can share the exact error message too.

Correct, the G29 driver block does not work for desktop simulation. It has to be included in a real-time application built for Simulink Real-Time, running on a Speedgoat real-time target machine.

Is there any way that this block could be expanded (or recreated in a different block) in a way that would enable interfacing with Simulink running on a PC instead of a real-time target? That would be extremely useful for us.

use the joystick block in the lib of destop real time, it can get the analog of the g29, includeing steering , throttle, brake etc.

This is because your G29 does not support PS3! This module only supports PS3! My G29 is a new version of PS4/5, and like you, it cannot read data.
