Solving a multi variable equation through levenberg marquadt algorithm

I am currently trying to solve a set of six non linear equations with five variables using levenberg marquardt algorithm for curve fitting. However since i am unfamiliar with the syntax i would like to know if it is possible to solve equations with 5 variables with Levenberg Marquardt technique and what is the basic syntax for doing that?
