Undefined function or variable 'profile' in standalone application

I am trying to build a standalone matlab application with capability to profile files/functions and dependencies.

It works well on Matlab GUI session but example.EXE fails with message as 'undefined function profile'

I would be very surprised if the profiler is supported by the compiler for standalone applications, though off-hand I don't have a source stating definitively either way.

It's not supported. What profile information do you want in your deployed application?
