x = linspace(0,5);
y = linspace(0,2);
[xGrid, yGrid] = meshgrid(x,y);
zGrid = yGrid.*xGrid;
idx = xGrid./2 < yGrid;
zGrid(idx) = nan;
figure
surf(xGrid,yGrid,zGrid)
